Freakin' love broadcast.

Sure makes angles a little more difficult than I'd like, but I'll sacrifice for TV perspective.

Since I'm not a sucker for live tv experience I enjoy drive and zoomed out 2k cam. I can see the angles, judge the pnr better. Everything is just better in terms of pure gameplay.

Since i release the ball when i gets closest to the head, broadcast has always been better for me. I switched to 2k cam because i used to hear everyone talk about how you can see the entire court which is true. My shooting suffered for it and now im thinking aboit going back to it for 2k18

I'm comfortable on either camera

Game is ugly on 2k cam tho imo...I get that you can see more of the floor on 2k cam but that isn't enough of a reason for me personally.

Broadcast is more visually appealing, but the depth perception screws with me sometimes and the eye candy isn't worth sacrificing me feeling in control.

Re: Born and Raised on Broadcast, Weaned Off by what Camera Angle?

I have been playing on Broadcast view (which used to be Sideline view in the old days) for most of my sport-gaming life. But the last several years I actually switched to 2K view (or similar) from behind the ball-handler with low angle. Then got back to Broadcast, then back to 2K...still undecided what my older-self likes better.

I am still waiting for a camera/perspective revolution. There is a physics/animation revolution going on, but I think the biggest revolution after that should be the perspective, how you view/being part of the game. First person is probably out of the question at this point, but there must be another way to bring you down to the court and be part of the action.

I think Broadcast view is like playing using a real-time strategy game view, while 2K/Drive views are more of a real-time action view.

Switched to 2K from Broadcast on 2K17. Broadcast looks better but the 2K cam is far superior for actually playing the game on.
