realistic field goal percentages

how do i get a realistic field goal percentage in the game. i am having great games but my field goal percentage is too high and also the computer is taking about 23 more shots per game then me and they are getting a realistic field goal percentage, one game i shot 68 percent and it ended up with me losing in over time to golden state 128-126 and my field goal percentage was 68 percent for the game. i use shooting based on real player % and not timed shooting.

Go to sliders and adjust. I personally use the Superstar setting with these shooting slider adjustments:

same with me I'm losing and my shooting percentage is sky high, way better than the team I'm playing against and that's defeating me. i know it can be fixed via sliders but I'm a basketball noob and wondering why it is that way. turnovers? rebounding? few 3pt tries? any other reason?
