When can we expect the first ratings update?

Notable rating changes that I could see

Greek Freak is a 94 used to be 91

Went up: Simmons Kyrie Griffin Gasol Porzingis Russell Oladipo

Went down: Gobert Jokic Harden Butler P.George Draymond

Lowry went from 87 to 84

I might be biased (and I know it's only been 7 games) but shouldn't Ben Simmons be rated higher than an 81?

18.4 ppg 9.1 rpg 7.7 apg 1.4 spg

I could list several examples that are above or at that rating that Simmons is clearly better than.

I understand rating rookies low, I encourage it really, but he's putting up consistent all star caliber numbers here.

Side note - glad to see Giannis get some serious love, dude has been absolutely unbelievable this year ..

This is a great question. I think you answered it already. But for rookies they don't have a history. While they might be preforming like a All-Star. They still aren't All stars yet.

One thing i’ve noticed is that jaylen browns layup attributes have actually gone down. I mean he’s averaging 15 PPG on a better FG% than last year, and he’s noticeably better and more aggressive at finishing around the rim
