Bad communication on my Pro-Am team, advice?

The Pro-Am team I'm currently in is having a problem. We have terrible communication. This has been a constant problem and I keep trying to fix it myself but my teammates will not listen because they think the game has to be all about them. We have 2 point guards (I'm one of them), and I agreed to let the other guy run the offense before 2k18 came out. I feel like he tries to do too much on his own and doesn't facilitate things the way I do. Another thing that irritates me is when the ball is inbounded and my entire team comes up and tries to get the ball. I'm the only one who goes down court and get where I'm supposed to be offensively. Since there is no communication offensively everyone just freelances around the court and everything gets stagnant while I try and help the team by setting off ball screens (nobody takes them). Defensively, I feel like we're solid when everyone is being serious, but if the game is a blowout everyone else starts screwing around. What should I do, sit down and try and talk to them, or find another Pro-Am team where I fit in as a team player better?

Definitely a bball iq issue with a little dose of "me first" mentality.

Find a set formation and some.plays to run in half court,

And if your team is butt it is what it is not to many people actually know how to play this game

Imo, best advice.....find new team mates!

Doesn't sound like they get the concept of "team" if 3/4(including the 4 and 5) want to move the ball up court every possession, and refuse to use a free screen🤔

I'm going to try some things to make it work, but if it doesn't, I'll look for a new team. We tried to play our first team Pro-Am game last week. Got matched up against a more experienced team, fortunately we only won by three, but everyone else on the team was saying we should have blown them out.

Everyone just has to know their roles . Who is your best scorer ? Best defender ? Best playmaker ? Second best ?

Find your spots on the floor . High post , low post , left corner , right corner , top of key . learn each other’s Tendencies and spots on the floor. Basically build chemistry . Also don’t expect all of your friends to have Gregg Pop level IQ.
