Are 2k18 servers down?

I've never gotten this message before. What's good with the servers? The site says its running but I connect any of my my players to the servers. What gives?

Just dropped 83 in a mycareer game and got this same message.

can't even load up MyCareer now.

Unless it's the upcoming Patch 5 (and it'll be the first time a patch closes down the servers)... it sounds like another deep sh*t.

This started happening for me AFTER I downloaded patch 5....servers never went down before or after a patch, weird 😐

Getting different error code, xbox 1, but same result, can't load career. No patch update. Did a hard reset, same result. Clicked updates under games and apps, there wasn't one.

At least I'm not alone

After I downloaded the patch I got to the Pro Am arena with my team and it took forever to get into a game, so we backed out the arena, the game got stuck loading for me so I closed the app and started it now the servers don't work.

just downloaded the patch, same here, can't connct to servers, same error code

I'm sorry but the way patches keep screwing up other things in the game I hope this is the last patch.
