double dribblee pick and roll acrobatic layup/floaters.
And probably leave his man open so he can have the ball back faster.

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)
Late contest on laups matter too much.
Random blocks doing pumpfakes.
Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.Comment

Re: Road to 99
No idea how 100K is possible, he must be getting a lot of steals and blocks on defense along with dominating on offense? Hope he reveals it soon.
Check this out tho..
These are screencaps of one of my games, im a shot creating-slasher, Ive been trying hard how to get more XP. Looking at these XP i drilled down to how much each is equal to.
So
Contact Dunks- 180
Floaters- 453
Strong Finishes- 190
Fast Break- 150
Free Throws- 112
50/50- 180
Deep Outlets- 110
Screens- 60
Perimeter- 330
Picks Dodged- 300
Poked Loose- 200
Assists- 150
Blocks- 350
Rebounds- 70
Dribble Drive- 200
Well Defended- 200
A normal offense possession for me, I do this...
Screen + Dribble Move + Strong Finish + Contact Dunk
60 + 200 + 190 + 180 = 630
So thats 630 XP per one offense possession, and that's if I do it perfectly, many times I get fouled though or I dont dunk and its a normal layup which isnt any extra XP.
Now look at if I did this...
Floater Shot
Screen + Dribble Move + Floater
60 + 200 + 453 = 713
That's 83 more XP per possession . Now imagine if I did nothing but Floaters in a game. Lets say I make 40 floaters in one game.
Using this same method, set a screen, get the ball, do a dribble move, drive in, floater. 713 x 40 = 28,520.
That's more XP than I got for this entire game!
Then add in rebounds and assists I'll get throughout the game. I almost get atleast 15 rebounds per game and 10 assists per game (depending on if teammates can hit)
so thats 70 x 15 = 1050.
150 x 10 = 1500
Add that in, and we're up to over 31k now.
Dodge some picks, play tight defense, get some steals, block some shots, etc and add in those XP.
It's not 100k, but its still a good amount of XP for a full game.
Idk if XP is different for each play style or what, but something I suggest to do and i'll be doing this too soon, Im trying to max out my relentless finisher and posterizer badges though so I still might attack the basketball more. But when thats done, to get more rep, no doubt i'll be doing floaters. Hope this helpsComment

Yeah that's really well broken down. The only thing I can think of is that he probably did a combination of 20 minute quarters when that use to be a thing, and maybe 2s where his opponents would just let him **** all over them. There's even claims that he had someone use his account when he couldn't play. He also says that he's not going to explain how he did it, so his account has even been hacked from someone trying to figure out his methods. Crazy.

Re: Road to 99
He plays MyCareer when his bigs aren't online and he doesn't stream that.
He only averages 40PPG though in MyCareer. So I believe he is playing on 5 min quarters and then quitting out at halftime and doing the Tireless Scorer -> Read the Screen drill four times. I was doing this last night and getting around 40 points by halftime.Comment

I think that people that concentrate on rep are making this game into a chore. I just play for fun and do whatever i want and whatever rep i get im happy. I already have a job so i dont need 2k to be my other job.
I have 2 89 players and 2 88 players. difference between 89 player and 95 player is negligible.Comment

Re: Road to 99
I think the real reason for the commotion is that this year rep is tied with your overall. Meaning last year from what I've heard I could max all my ratings but I could still have a lesser reputation than a lower overall. That meant your rep had no impact on your overall gameplay. This year it does matter and I have to grind to get ratings on my player.I think that people that concentrate on rep are making this game into a chore. For example my 81 Overall SG Pure Sharp has access to tier 2 dribble moves. But even if I spent all my money on VC right now I can't get the ratings without grinding to a certain level I have no knowledge of or control over. Nobody has put out(both 2K and the community) when I can get this upgrade for that cap in the ratings so now I'm stuck grinding not knowing if I'll get this at 90 or 99. This is the chore of combining the rep system with the overall system.
I play all modes so I could care less of going through the road to 99.76 6"6" 180lbs Sharpshooting Playmaking SF

This is also my approach. I have an 89 (sharp PG), 88 (slasher SF), and two 87s (centers). These characters seem to get the major stats for their archetypes pretty much maxed by 86 or so and the rest of the cap breakers are just gravy.I think that people that concentrate on rep are making this game into a chore. I never expected to hit 99 anyway so I'm not sweating it. I just play whatever character fits my mood.
Being only 87 doesn't stop my Glass Cleaner from picking up player of the game in pro-am. I'm on a 5-game streak of those.Comment

Yeah, badges are 1000 times more important then having 64 speed instead of 61.This is also my approach. I have an 89 (sharp PG), 88 (slasher SF), and two 87s (centers). No I definetly agree, it just sucks to feel like a casual gamer like myself and probably you will never reach the top cause there is seemingly not enough time. And personally I like mygm most lmao. But I really wanted to grind this year and I'm barely about to be 91
