Should I buy?

I really have only played association modes in past NBA 2K games. How is this year's association? I am true sim oriented. I like to see realistic stats, no off-season craziness, realistic player progression/regression.

Will I enjoy this years game or is there a lot of serious true sim association issues?

I played the game a little bit since I purchased it from Black Friday.

I will say that based on what you want, the OS community made association sliders since those sliders was introduced in 2k16 so the offseason can be a little bit more realistic. If you want to know how the gameplay is, it is better than 17 imo.
