I haven’t brought 2K17 and barely played 2K16 because I’m getting older and don’t have the time nor skills to play effectively. I’m the type that only needs a pass/shoot/turbo button and happy for animations to do the rest, I can’t pull off fancy moves or anything.
The past few months I’ve been playing sports management games, football manager, OOTP and rebooted my old PS3 to play bouts of NFL Head Coach and College Hoops 2K8.
Recent games don’t capture me like this games do because either there is no coach mode, or they aren’t engaging enough with the details and depth of franchise.
Originally I read all the improvements that were made in 2K18 franchise, the draft pick trading, etc etc and was interested. Then the game came out and it was all VC heavy, people were upset, and there was yet again no coach mode and even no work around.
So, should I give 2K18 a go for and older, sports management, or keep going back to NFL head coach, college hoops and proper PC sports management games?

i have 2k17 i like it in mygm mode u can download custom rosters u cant in 2k18
all through to me trading is too easy in my gm mode 2k17 u can get all guys on 1 y deal and 12 draft picks a year if u want
the only reason i am getting 2k18 is the all time teams and the 17 extra classic teams and when u make rosters u can delate a player
2k17 also has a much better cap system than 2k18 and myplaer is much better as well
if u like to make every move yourseif and edit every player u can do that in 2k
i like to coach too the best game for that might be NCAA 14
