Not to hijack... bc I don't know the answer, but this is pertinent. There is no way to resign a coach, exec, trainer, etc who's contract has expired!! I've heard the only workaround here is to fire the coach and try to sign them again once the personnel period opens

Edit the coach's contract to add additional years. simple fix
