Are the old-school classic teams THAT un-athletic?

Aside from the stars like Chamberlain, Russell, West, Kareem, and a few others.

The supporting cast is portrayed as a joke! The guards on these teams are getting outran by the ball handler on a fast break! They are slow as sloths on the throw in after a made bucket and get beat to the rim......to the point where I'm usering myself from the opposite end of the court and out running all of my CPU defenders.

Just my input on what can be done to fix this: Get rid of the standard attributes on the John Browns, the John Smiths, and the Michael Davis's. Replace them with what the actual player on that team may have had. I'm not saying give me a face scan or actual name, but sheeze, give me something to compete with the 2000's classic teams that have loaded rosters.

Putting real player ratings on generic players is what got college video games in trouble. You can only imagine how that would work out with retired pros.

Why? I've seen several sports games lacking in licences use thinly veiled expies of the real players without issue...

You are intended to only use real players in your rotation.

If you are saying the Generics have bad ratings, it's because the vast majority of people prefer those players sniff as little game time as possible.

As such you can really only use fleshed out Classics in an Online mode and if you want a full-team you can either flesh them out yourself or download a Classics roster.

Since all the generics largely have the same rating, using Quick Edit mode you can quickly update their speed to an acceptable level if that's the main issue.
