    2K 17 (maybe 2K 18 too) right stick

Playing 2K 17 on xbox one. All good untilI I try to use right stick to do some fancy dribbling moves.....the stick seems to think that I want to shoot at the hoop and sends a shot that has no chance of reaching the hoop!!!
Also......when I am attacking.....I go for the hoop and miss....and none of my players are near the hoop to go for the rebound......do I have to use a slider or game strategy to get my lads in there for rebounds?

I'm a Brit who knows sod all about basketball.....but who has bought this game.

      - Flicking the R-Stick will do various dribble moves.
      - Holding the R-Stick will attempt a shot/layup/dunk depending on the situation.

So when trying to perform dribble moves, flick the R-stick and then let it go back to it's neutral position. Otherwise, the game will think you want to attempt a shot.

As far as rebounding, in the Coach Settings in the pause menu, there should be an option for how aggressive you want your team to be on the offensive glass. I forget the exact wording, but if you want your teammates to be aggressive at going after offensive rebounds, you'll want to pick "Crash, some get back" or "Crash the Glass." Like I said, I can't remember the exact wording, but it's something like that. WARNING: If you make your guys more aggressive on the offensive glass, you'll be more vulnerable to giving up easy transition points to the other team. Just something to consider.

Thanks for the info/advice bud. Hopefully I'll be able to score some more points/baskets than I am at present. My defending sucks as well.....I've just realised that I can use the right stick for defensive moves/actions too. Having fun though.
