Can you play with 2 players on the same team on PS4?

Yes, two people in the same room can play offline on the same team with each other. You can have up to 8 players on one system, I believe. Players can also choose to player lock on a certain position if they'd like (in the controller settings in the pause menu, I think).

You also have a couple online options for playing on the same team with a friend vs the CPU. You can SharePlay with someone who has a PS4, but doesn't own 2K18. Or, if you have a friend who also owns the game, you can play a Private Team Up match and pick players on the same team (you'll be player locked in this mode).

one other question....game is on sale at Target for $29.99....is this worth it?
