Long story short, I want to start up a real dynasty, as I have the time and I believe I can stay committed to it. Only thing holding me back is I'm torn on when I should start it.

So, should I start it from the playoffs, like my own version of SW's dynasty?
OR
Should I start from Opening Night with an alternate history of the season and go from there?

No long explanation needed, all I'm really looking for is opinions.
