I'm by no means an expert on NBA 2k or MyPlayer mode (haven't played either since 2k11) but watching these streams I have been drawn back in and will almost certainly be in the game with 2k19.
With that said, the commentators continued to talk about how Shawn_Win was the Warriors' 1st round pick yet he hadn't gotten going yet. So I kept an eye on him and realized that there were absolutely zero plays run to get him an open look. If I'm the coach and know he's our supposedly best player on the team, a simple down screen to flare him open would make so much sense and give their offense yet another threat.*
Overall I've enjoyed what I've seen. Going into it knowing that we aren't going to see very much fundamental basketball and taking it for what it is worth, consider me entertained and a follower. Hopefully with the first weekend tournament underway and almost done, these collections of players will start to play more like teams in the future events.

Do they have limits on the created players to keep it even or is everyone just using a 99 rated player?

No idea. I was searching everywhere to see what the players were rated but couldn't find anything on it.

They're all 90 overall.

it's the same setup and archetypes like the combine i believe. maybe a few tweaks and maybe they let in some archetypes and got rid of some.
