Basics Guide? Last time I played was probably 2K5

So yeah, it's been a while. My friend gifted me the game, and I love basketball, mostly the NCAA side, and the College game was the last basketball game I played.

I've always been a person that has started with the basics and gotten the fundamentals down. Is there a good resource to learn this on YouTube or else where that the community would recommend?

A channel search on YouTube of “SamPham” might help. There’s other channels you can find as well. Might take some few hours but you can get accustomed in not time.

the best basic tip I have it hit L1 (I think) for the screen to come. In my gm/league start out just jumping into the games in the 2nd half when they aren't close to get some practice. I took many years off 2k and my skill level still isn't great a few years later, but its so fun its about the only game I play.

Play now games w/ short quarters help too. Also think you meant to type hold L1. Still can get a pick by pressing & then holding a icon to get a specific screener.
