Basically what 2k does when they drop big patches with no patch notes

They most likely made a few negligible changes to stuff that you probably won't notice and fixed some hard-crashing issues, that's about it. The size of the patches is more because of the way that PS4/X1 handle patches than anything. Patch size isn't really reflective of the amount of changes, it could be 3GB just to fix some small issue.

That part my One S patch was only 1.5gigs last night. I didn't notice any changes but I'm sure it was for good reason(s). . .

It is good to hear. I grinded to 90. Simmed games and seasons making trade suggestions. Acquired role players I wanted, adjusted Playcalls. Then I wasn't able to get through a game in the 6 times I tried.
So Hopefully I can continue the career

I'm an Xbone user who hadn't played in a week but I DL'd a 1.5 GB update last night that drastically improved ball/rim physics. There were hardly any fortunate bounces. It made such a big difference; I can't believe it took 2K years to fix it.
