Why didn't 2k announce this yet ? this thing leaked early before 2k announce release date with 20th annivesary edition and Lebron James : September 7 for only pre-order it to play 4 days early access

It would be the same situation as how it was for 2K18 with Kyrie. 2K released the game with Kyrie wearing a Cavs jersey. Then cut those shipments off and rebranded the cover athlete in a Boston jersey for the entirity of 2K18. So I'm assuming LeBron won't make his F/A commitment until August or early September. Around the same time frame Kyrie was traded to Boston. Leaving 2K19 in the same jersey cover athlete controversy.
