What did you LIKE about 2k18?

from a MyCareer POV...


- badges (progress meter, progression in park/pro-am, practice)

- as others mentioned before, the neighborhood was a cool concept.

- length of time to start a park game is the best it's ever been when all the spots are filled.
- overall server stability in park has been improved since last year. I think I've only been kicked 3 times compared to 3 times a week in 17.

I like the concept of Dual archetypes, although def agree they need to balance it 1000x times better.

I think the archtype thing could work if it wasn't so rewarding to just go all in on offense...a lot of good to elite defenders have enough of an offensive skill set to not be a black hole on offense while you have kawhi, klay, butler, simmons, embiid, davis, cp3, pg, etc who are legit 2-way stars ..notice a lot of them started out as defenders with raw offense...

Loved how the game played earlier, I went away from it for a long while simply because I didn’t have time to play, and all the updates/patches along the way set it back a bit IMO. I really like how the game played early on.

Interesting, I'm actually the exact opposite. I shelved the game about a week in because I couldn't stand how it played early and didn't pick it up again outside of mycareer until about april.

The badge progression system was great to me. The XP bar actually motivates me to play.

I also liked the overall gameplay this year. Feels way better than last year. Defensively still needs some work, but offensively it was nice.

AFter about 6 patches, the play on the court is good. Offline only. i like the players faces finally (although the legends still need work, can they fix Jordan for 2k19 finally so it looks as good as he did in 2k11? It's a good offline game with friends, but that's about it, but to get my fix now, I go with 2k16 on previous gen.
