Hey guys, forgive me for being behind with the times but I've been playing NBA2k15 for PS4 lately and started a season with a fantasy draft.

I can't figure out how to advance the ball to half court after a time out. I've looked through the menu's during a time out, tried googling for the answer, etc and can't figure it out. I'm hoping one of you can help me out with this, figuring maybe it's performed the same way in 2k18?

Any help is appreciated. It sucks when you only have 2 seconds left in a quarter and have to throw a Grant Hill to Christian Laettner pass as my only option.

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is the wrong forum for this post, I'm just lost and need help.....my season could be riding on this!

A timeout will advance the ball past half court at the end of the fourth quarter, but not at the end of any other quarter.

But also don't advance the ball. Meaning call timeout asap. If you move the ball. The advance won't happen.

I've lost a couple of pro am games this year because the guy who grabbed a defensive rebound decided to take a step or throw an outlet pass before we could call a timeout and fully advance the ball.

If you're ever in that situation as the defensive rebounder, make sure that you're not touching anything but the timeout button on your way down from grabbing the board.

Yeah if you dribble before you call the timeout you'll have to inbound in the backcourt.

At the end of the fourth, if the ball doesn't advance on a timeout and you have additional timeouts remaining, I'm pretty sure that you can call another timeout and it will advance it to half court after the second time out.

Yeah there are so many people out there that think you can advance the ball after any timeout. So they end up wasting timeouts
