For all those asking for 2k to separate park from nba 2k, this could be a step in that direction.
It’s possible that a purchase of this new park game could even further that chance of separation.

I had to google the trailer unless I missed it at the Forbes site...

looks good to me...first one was kinda bland and I just didn't have any interest in unlocking players that should've been unlocked from the getgo. They should've done the NBA Jam route and enter codes randomly to unlock someone lol

Nah nobody was really interested. Check the thread made here on OS in the other basketball forums.

I think they delayed it like right before release, and I thought it was because of the mediocre response.

I doubt it. There's really no benefit in separating the two modes from each other from the Company's perspective.

There’s really no benefit in having two park style games, separating makes more sense than developing two games for the same crowd.
They’d effectively be competing against themselves.
