Because like @m29a predicted, the -30% standard edition has an EU region flag on it now. So buying knowing it has a EU flag may disqualify you from a refund due to region locking?

FYI there is a standard version with the US flag, but it's only -4%.

Yup, the $36 version is EU only. Waiting for a reply to see if they'll honor my preorder for the US version, because that is a textbook bait and switch.

The US version is still cheaper than retail, but I don't know if I want to give them my money, considering they knew they were going to update it. I'd rather just get it through Steam directly.
