Post Scoring shouldn't slow down small guards

Was gonna make a Jordan build and realized you take a big hit with Speed and Acceleration

Jordan, Kobe, Paul Pierce,y Carmelo, LeBron, etc.

All those guards can make great shots from the post, some very accurate like Jordan.

So if I'm a SF and post scoring is my primary Archtype, why am I taking a big hit on Speed and Acceleration? The players I listed are far from slow and post scoring is definitely in their Archtype

-Speed/Acceleration
-Ball Control
-Speed with Ball

Those should all be adequate stats, yet they're mediocre

And there's also the fact that post Scoring as a secondary gives low stats. This shouldn't be the case. I think 80 post scoring should at least be a given.

2k needs to fix this. Post Scoring with a Secondary or Slashing or Shot Creating can be very fun and competitive

I don't know why. But I just don't agree with this thread.

One, you pick a type and deal with the weakness and Strength of the build you choose.

Second, You do know you just picked some of the slowest players in the NBA history. Paul Peirce is slow, Melo just as slow, Kobe might be the fastest of this group. You know what made these guys "fast"? Their skill and quickness.

Third, Why does everyone in the my player community compare themselves to NBA legends? lol I wouldn't let any of you guys go passed 95 lol jk

Quickness is the same thing as Speed and Acceleration in this game. Unless there's a separate stat for quickness. Besides that, what I'm talking about is turtle slow. Like low 70s

Of course you're gonna have weaknesses, but being slow shouldn't be one of them. Say I pick Post/Shotcreating, then I wont be able to drive as well. Say I pick Post/Slasher, then I wouldn't be able to shoot as well. I don't understand why a 6'7
185lb SF should be slow with Post Scoring as the primary

You say Pierce and Melo are slow, idk about that, didn't watch most their games in their prime. I do know they were scoring machines.

What about Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, KD, and Livingston? I want to bring up Harden but I don't watch him much either

But I don't see why you're against it. The weakness is there. It wouldn't be some crazy OP build.

Not disagreeing with the rest of your post, but LeBron is one of the fastest guys in the league in terms of end to end speed. How do you think he gets all those chase down blocks after just hitting a layup on the offensive end?

A few years back, the Quickness rating was renamed to Acceleration. Speed is top forward-moving speed, and Acceleration is how fast they get to that speed.

They have to take a hit somewhere for game balance . Post scorers get get the second highest midrange and finishing ability for the most part . They are also second in rebounding and first in strength .

They take the hit in speed , acceleration, and vertical .

Not saying I dont agree with you . But it’s for balance .

You cant recreate a superstar player in 2k18. You have to deal with strength and weakness
