94 Ovr two way SC SF
92- Ovr Sharpshooting rebounder PF

I wasn’t crazy about either of my builds but I do like playing the 4 much more.

Next year I’m making 1 player a PF . Hoping to get at least a 94.

86 Rim Protector, but I genuinely HATED the grind. I'm just glad that my player was still usable although it wasn't a perimeter player. In past two 2K's, I normally earned enough VC from PNO alone to create two players. Historically, I don't go above 90, because I like the challenge. I might try 94 (obviously depending on the grind) and stop.

95 OVR 6'11 Two Way Athletic Finisher
90 OVR 7'1 Pure Athletic Finisher
91 OVR 6'11 Pure Rim Protector
90 OVR 6'10 Shot Creating Slasher

I'm most likely going to run it back with my Two Way, im really hoping that for 19 there is a noticeable speed differential between bigs and the max height is brought down to 7'1.

So Ima have to pick your brain because you had all the builds that interested me a lot. A few pros and cons ?

Also has the lack of a 3 ball ever caused problems for you and your team ?

SG Slashing Shot Creator - 94
PG Sharpshooting Playmaker - 91. Or 92. I can't remember.
C Rebounding Post Scorer - Second upgrade in 90. I think.
C Two Way Stretch - 88 or 89

I sold the game this week and bought myself a cheesesteak with the cash I got lol

Next year I'm going to do just one build, likely a slashing shot creator at PG or playmaking shot creator because I'm going to be busier and there is going to be something called Red Dead Redemption 2 coming out that you guys might have heard of lol. That's definitely going to eat into 2k time

Since Dude asked his question, I kinda want to chime in on this post too. What was it like using the Pure Rim Protector? I rarely run into another RP in ProAm.

Re: What OVR did you guys reach last year? What is your goal for this year?

93 OVR 6'3 PG Pure Playmaker
90 OVR 6'4 PG Playmaking Sharpshooter
90 OVR 6'7 SG Shot Creating Sharpshooter
91 OVR 6'8 SF Two Way Slasher
87 OVR 6'11 PF Shot Creating Post Scorer
88 OVR 7'1 C Glass Cleaner

Gonna build the playmaking sharp first next year, then the Two Way Slasher, most fun I've ever had w a build.

6'11 Two Way Athletic Finisher
Pros: HOF Posterizer, exceptional driving and standing dunks, lateral quickness to guard 6'10 sharps that play the 4, causess alot of standing layup misses, extremely athletic
Cons: Since i went C instead of PF only have bronze Acrobat, layups were inconsistent, 7'3 Slashing Rebounders were the biggest problem dye to the combination of strength+rebounding+standing dunks, struggles to handle tall rebounds
Jumpshot wise i can hit 3's from the corner fairly consistently with 61 3pt +9 for on fire

6'11 Pure Rim Protector
Pros: Can guard anything taller than 6'7 except for playmakers, decent rebounder, Strength helps with standing dunks, extremely athletic
Cons: wasted guarding stretches, lack of offense, atrocious ball security

7'1 Pure Athletic
Pros: Standing layup and dunk machine, good driving dunks, decent rebounder, decent mid range
Cons: low lateral quickness, low strength, average defense

6'10 Shot Creating Slasher
Pros: Offensive Versatility, get open mid ranges and dunks easier due to the threat of shooting or driving, corner 3's are reasonably good, decent ball handler, rebounder, great layups and dunks
Cons: Not fast enough to guard non-sharp 3's and too weak defensively and strength wise to deal with 4's, low lateral quickness
