What OVR did you guys reach last year? What is your goal for this year?

It was thd 1st build i had, it was very effective when the early meta was 2 or 3 Slashing Rebounders, Rebounding Athletics but as the meta changed to 4 and 5 out offenses it became alot less valuable.

Next year I want to stick with one archetype but I am still unsure what to go with. I’d love to do a SG LDD and just harass people on the park but I don’t want to be an offensive liability all year.

I’m tempted to go Post Scorer but that experience was not fun in 17.

I do know I am not going dual again. My shotcreating playmaker was easily the most inconsistent player all year and I regret investing so much time in him.

I had a few players that were low to mid 70s. I don't have nearly as much time to play video games as I used to, and grinding in My Career was just not fun at all.

Between my players starting with the athleticism of a toddler and the basketball skills to match, and not being able to skip the incredibly annoying cutscenes, I didn't put much time into My Career. Not to mention locking things like the jumpshot creator behind ratings was just a turnoff of the mode in general.

I hope it's better this year, because I would like to play more and get at least into the 80s, but I can't justify grinding with the ridiculous VC economy.

How the F do some of you guys have more than one player that's over 90 lol

I can only stomach those corny cut scenes only once but to go through it 4 or 5 times will drive me insane!

Anyway I usually stop at 90 I don't think going to 94 is worth the second takeover. So my primary pick will be my focus but hey if defense is actually fun compared to last year I may just go to 91 overall.
