I think it's pretty obvious who the market is for this mode. I don't want to say kids, because I think I'll enjoy this story too. But it's not for the hardcore. Czars blogs and Mikes gameplay changes are hard to market to my nephews and son. "Go from a scrub to playing with/against you favorite NBA players" is more their speed. The park online guys will skim (or buy their way) through it as fast as b possible to get to their modes. These stories are essentially the campaign mode in a multiplayer game.
I have nothing against the mode so far, I just get annoyed with the shallow and kinda obvious hashtag type slogans they come up with.
