I think proximity played a part in people not playing it, but even then, after a few weeks, those things will more than likely die. Most people just want a competent Park/Pro-Am.

Re: NBA 2K19 Neighborhood Trailer

I think the novelty of MyPark for match making has run out for me. Not saying they should get rid of it, but why not just give an option to start a park game from a menu? Running around for 30 minutes to an hour trying to get a game started gets old quick.

Playing Live and just having a street game populate itself in 10 seconds makes me wish I could do that in 2k again.

In 2k16 it was definitely called the Jordan Rec Center, not walk on.

Re: NBA 2K19 Neighborhood Trailer

Other than the slamball type mode I don't see the other stuff having longevity
Players gonna just be running straight to the park/stage/rec after a month.

Day/night transitions and the courts having a little variety is something i'm happy about so I won't be looking at the same thing all year.

Exactly. If I wanted to play a sandbox game, I'd pop in GTA.

2K16 didn't have JRC. IIRC.

Lol you know what I mean. People have wanted the 2K15 Rec back, not the 2K16 knock-off version.
