2K's face scan app has to be the worst app ever developed. I have probably tried 40 times, I'm not even exaggerating. (And this rant does not even pertain to the ridiculous forcing of you to play their stupid card game, ads, microtransaction pushing, and terrible navigation.)

I tried just about every setting: brightly lit bathroom, sunny living room (no direct sun on my face), outdoors in the shade during the daytime, cloudy days, office with fluorescent lighting (this got closest to acceptable results), moving head slooooowly ... IT DOES. NOT. MATTER. This stupid app/game engine keeps placing a mouth above my actual mouth that was scanned in. TF, do you expect me to have studio lighting & flood lamps??? I've tried on my Samsung Galaxy Note8, my old Samsung Galaxy S6, and my work iPhone 7.

Never had such absurd problems with the Live Companion app. What does get scanned in does look very high quality, though. But what's the point when you make a feature that's completely inaccessible to a large number of people?






Oh...and I spent about an hour & a half creating my own face. After I gave a face scan another shot, it overwrote my face that I spent all that time creating! And I made sure not to save the changes. I already have lukewarm interest in things like MyCareer/The One, but these frustrations definitely made me say F it.
