Only played one game of 2KU, loving the defense and the ball handling. Not sure why they used the CAVS again, would have loved for the other team to be the Lakers.

Yeah man, I by no means have ever been an expert dribbler in 2K, but in 2K19, after one game of 2KU using Curry I feel like a dribble god, lol.

I should have recorded it. I swear to God...the ball was in the half-court. Love got caught on a screen that freed up Green in the corner.

The AI started to go that direction, but STOPPED then back pedaled towards the paint and stayed. The AI moved a little bit closer to the paint as Cousins came to that side, but it didn't engage Green.

EDIT: The AI must be respecting a rating or something. When I walk Green to the corner, the AI drops down close to the paint.

Sounds brilliant if all accurate.

In 2K18 (going from memory) I recall them leaving Roberson (OKC) way open, then going into magnet mode once he caught the ball. Gonna play again tonight and re-check it.

Early impressions.5 on 5 real nba playing online guys are getting blessed. Played 2KU on HOF difficulty and:

1. The defense now has options.
Right stick steal. Chuck the ballhandler. Shade pass right. Shade pass left. You can now keep someone in front of you. No more auto blowbyes.

2. The revamped shot contest calculations. No more late bs closeouts. No more behind the shooter contests. Hand down man down. Good floor spacing will get its just due this year.

3. Off the dribble shooting feels good.

4. Catch and shoots are cleaner.

5. Post game is cleaner.

6. Triple threat can create more space with jabsteps.

7. Didnt see alot of BS Oboards.

8. Hack a Shaq finally in the game.

9. You can fool the cpu with dribble moves and eurosteps.

10. L2 hold off dribble and stop on a dime dribble change the pnr game. Harden and Cp3 should be deadly.

I see all positive reviews so far but too bad the actual game will be nothing like the prelude. This is the same thing that happened with 18 it felt so good playing prelude and the actual game wasnt the same. Its not the same feeling. 2K only does this to make it look good but trust me 100% the actual game will not be anything like it. They just use it as leverage for a selling point.

Adding on to that...the AI reacted differently to each player. It smothered KD, played tight on Curry and Tomphson, moderate on Cousins, and sagged off Green.
