NBA 2K19 Footage Recording - Audio?

• NBA 2K17 had no sound
• NBA 2K18 had no sound
• NBA 2K19 has no sound

How in the world of technology and these consoles letting us have the ability to full stream or upload everything and share with community to grow even bigger as a whole yet NBA 2K 3 years in a row has no sound of footage recorded or stream.

Someone with a sense please explain it to me in the year of 2019 of their 20th Anniversary game!

2K must be seeing this and act immediately about to solve it, there is no logical excuse of having no sound while all other sports and genres have all that sound and i'm just freakin... UNBELIEVABLE!

Is this not AAA game like any other? How come this is still not in the game?


Please comment your thoughts so that 2k can see and patch and do smt about it. It's madness.

So again it happened? I haven’t tried and this is one of the reasons I abandoned MyCareer and found joy in MyLeague.

You just can’t share anything in MyCareer without Elgato. Does 2K have side agreement with Elgato to promote its use?

PS4’s share button just don’t make the cut. Other games are not selfish.

It should be noted that it DOES have audio if you're using a capture card hooked up to a PC, which is how Chris Smoove gets his footage.

Because of this, my gut tells me 2K's hands are tied, and that it's out of their hands--it's Sony and Microsoft's fault.

At least one advantage of gaming on PC over console players. Just open OBS and press record and it's simple as that.

I use shadowplay on my pc and the sound is there but not on my Playstation so I don't know what's up with that

Xbox and Playstation have no sound for the last 3 games of NBA 2K which i find after 3 years disrespectful.

It sucks. We all love watching all the highlight plays and videos we all make, and they arent as good without the sound. It also neuters the users offering free and shareable marketing of 2K by making all our videos a little worse.

2k mute all music give us all ball/rim sounds and commentary that's it. Voila.

I tweeted Mike wang 4 times when they were online so graciously answering everyone questions and not even a reply back. It's so disheartening to see this so called interaction with the community be so blatantly disregarded. I literally watched him answer tons of questions on his Twitter feed. It's a shame because that was one of the reasons I didnt even play 2k last year, I'm not going to breakdown spend over a 100 dollars plus tax for the game a captured a card at 100 plus dollars a computer at minimum of 700 to a thousand dollars just so I can here sound that will eventually loop because they just dont have enough audio to record continuously.

If it weren't for the drastic changes I've seen from 18 to 19 gameplay wise I'd cancel my pre order and order NBA live. And if NBA live had editing in there dogon franchise mode I'd order it instead. Real courts plus audio.

However I'm not gone turn this into a vs thing. Personally I'm not made of money and on my streams I will lower the quality down to 480p if I have to using the playstation remote play.

Yeah let's see you block that 2k. You cant. Yeah quality of videos will be garbage but at least those that want to enjoy the immersion of a game being played will have sound. My laptop is only 2 ghz as an i7, it's a very old pc it was one of the first builds, back when it first came out that 2 was a decent speed.

Anyway it borderline the minimum requirement to run the program. But for those of you that have a decent computer the way to fix this non sense is...

Just install sonys remote play on your computer then install obs, capture the window from remote play in obs and broadcast through obs.

I asked Xbox Support about this last year. They said it was shut off on 2K's request because of copyright concerns.

2K doesn't want it, so the console makers have to have it off.

I have a capture card now so, suck it 2K.
