I vaguely remember getting a realistic amount of fouls and non-shooting fouls when SimWorld did their rosters, sliders, settings and tendencies last year.

Unfortunately, they aren't doing their settings and rosters this year.

the only thing that worries me on gameplay is if this year finally add injuries on in-game matches that's a need, especially when most sports games have it and even old nba2k

WHAT?? Aw man, I was planning on getting the game on Xbox this year so I can use their roster. Smh oh well, I guess it's PS4 again.

Yep I agree and I think Da_Czar took alot of jumpshots as well to showcase the shot feedback system and it showed me alot about what is considered open now...if a player is there but doesn't extend his hand or jump then that is an open shot, as it should be, i mean these are professional basketball players

the simulation and the amateur one
unfortunately, however, modifying the sliders does not lead to any concrete changes in the gameplay.

This is the REAL problem

Ok Da_Czar play in test mode, ok, but what about the CPU standard gameplay?
Man, it's orrible! There are only jump shots

It will be too early, ok, but to see a CPU player with a clear road in front of him, stop and take a 4-meter shot rather than go to the basket, my eyes bleed

I hope to be denied by the final game, but I'm seeing the same defects of the previous year

It will obviously be wrinkles to iron out, we live in the beautiful era of "don't worry about this/that and the other because we already have 6 patches ready for day 1" lol...but seriously, I enjoy my gaming collection for what it's worth and I too am a sim head just don't run my blood pressure up over every single little detail from every second of gameplay video I see on the web.

Sliders can fix some of these issues but the real problem is the offensive AI every year is just so bad. They can't drive to the paint off the dribble, they struggle with the simplest of basketball plays, and they don't space the floor very well. They never get fouled because they can't attack the defense.
