Can no longer speed boost at 86 Ball Control

A buddy of mines just hit 94 overall with his 6'6 PlaySharp on Xbox and got another attribute for ball handling which puts the rating at an 88 and he has no issues speed boosting, hitting momentum etc. He could only speed boost with a little bit of takeover prior to getting the attribute. Keep in mind his ball control was at 86 or 87 which should allow you to do so. Looks like the requirement to speed boost and momentum is a tad bit higher on Xbox than PS4.

Xbox definitely needs an update. The threshold to speed boost has always been an 86. No reason why it should be totally different on each system.

Wait so my 6'3" pure playmaker with 96 ball control cannot speed boost on xbox? I'm confused.

96 Overall 6'4 -2 wingspan 86 ball control pure shot creator here. I can't speed boost either still without hit a shot or a goodplay. I tried in mycourt, nba, proam, park i can't momentum crossover. 2K fooled us.

This is such a shame. You have spent so much time grinding your player to 96 overall, which is a huge milestone for your build because you get the 86 ball control and you're not able to speed boost. Sorry to hear that.

I had to bump this thread to show how many months we are into 2k19 and this problem still exists for xbox users. Why is the cap set at 87 for xbox and 86 for ps4? This just shows how they ignore the xbox community.
