    2K support is absolutely terrible

My reply to 2K Support, hope many others who were screwed over by server problems after buying the Lebron anniversary edition can relate.

    Another reminder!
It is amazing how 2K trips all over itself to accommodate somebody pulling out a credit card to purchase VC, and yet when 2K’s faulty servers cause a customer to lose his VC, 2K is completely silent and unresponsive.

2 days of asking for a reply and no luck whatsoever. So here we go!

Daily reminder to refund my 91,946 VC that was lost after “Failed Transaction” on September 7th, 2018 due to over-flooded servers.

I will recap how server connection problems led to wiping out 91,946 of my VC:
I bought the LeBron $99.99 anniversary edition.
My VC, which includes the VC I earned in Prelude demo and the 100,000 VC that came with the anniversary edition of the game, was 102,221.
I tried to invest VC into my MyCareer file on September 7, 2018, and was met with multiple messages stating "Transaction Failed." Multiple of them. Because your servers were over-flooded as a result of multiple people logging onto the game at the same time.
At this time I checked my VC. It was still 102,221, meaning that my VC was safe.

A couple hours later, I restart 2K19 and lo and behold, my 102,221 VC dropped down to a measly 10,275 VC.
What happened to the 91,946 VC difference? It evaporated into thin air. It is now gone, as a result of "Transaction Failed."

Please refund my 91,946 VC difference.
I bought the $100 game for the 100,000 VC and the 4 days of playing early, and that 100,000 VC evaporated, leaving me with 10,275.
Not because of anything wrong that I did, but because despite your game saying "Transaction failed," it stole 91,946 VC from me.

I have not touched the game since so that you can know I am not trying to swindle you by showing that my VC total is staying at 10,275.

I agree 2K support the way it's currently run is flawed. But they seem to respond a little quicker to people who contact them on Twitter with their ticket number. Give that a shot.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

It is truly ridiculous how completely unresponsive they are when customers reach out for customer support but how quickly they are to respond when customers want to buy vc.

Thanks for letting me know that. I don't even tweet but made an account just to reach out to them smh. Appreciate you trying to help

What do you think they’re supposed to have a million support agents that cater to your every whim immediately?

The problem is the bug on the dev side, customer support is never going to have enough people to deal with potentially a million people having problems. Let’s place blame where it’s due.

Oh I agree. The dev side is not getting off the hook. 2K's business practices are amazing. They got rid of the practice of paying beta testers because they now release a beta game and have us consumers pay to test it. Absolutely amazing business practice.

All I'm doing is raising awareness on how sucky the entire 2K customer service is, from the devs down.
