The gameplay on release date is so good and then it gets ruined by all the changes. Just leave it.

I dont see any major problems with the gameplay, I hope they dont make it easier to please the noobs. This is by far the best 2k ever made

Its really not...last year we had dribble penetration so bad THIS was happening with these lumbering oafs. Sometimes patching is....necessary.





Also keep in mind that there we're talking about online H2H. I hope sooner than later 2K can patch each mode separately (or allow "offliners" to turn off patches) because you shouldn't suffer for what guys trying to break the game are doing.

2k18 was phenomenal out of the box offline. Then the online cheese patches showed up and ruined it. Fact of life with sports games in 2018, unfortunately.



I mean, the game has been out like 3-4 days and people who play exclusively online are already wanting patches. It's a never ending cycle. Nobody can just play the game for 2 weeks and decide if what they're seeing is an anomaly or an actual issue anymore. It's "I didn't see enough fouls in the two games I played on 5 minute quarters so it's obviously broken and needs patched". The only way it'll ever change is if they fix online and offline separately, but that will probably never happen.

I don't play online...like at all.

Why?

Because it's not basketball. It's sizing up and doing a bunch of dribble moves to try to break someones ankles. That's all the online players wanna do. And if you deny that, you're just kidding yourself.

No thanks. If I wanna show someone up, I'll play CoD or play an MMO and pvp someone there.

I buy 2k to run a franchise and build up a bad team into a contender over the course of 10+ seasons.

People always say this but 2K18 was barely patched at all. Use 2K17 or 2K16 as an example if you must but citing last year’s game just makes you look uninformed.
