Quick question about Mycareer offline

I bought the anniversary edition and have been grinding since the game came out. Unfortunately, I'll be going on a work trip this week which is going to cut into my badge grind time.

I'll be in a hotel with wifi, but hotel wifi is always kind of spotty so I was wondering if I'll be able to continue my career offline for the badge grind?

I saw some videos on YouTube which shows that you can play Mycareer offline and that is it a limited experience etc.

My main concern is that if I take my current career offline and then back online a week later if my badge progression will be saved and if I'll still be able to earn VC.

If anybody has any information on this I would greatly appreciate it.

I honestly don’t know but as long as you have hotel wifi and are connected, you should be fine even if it’s crappy. I’ve played other 2Ks on hotel wifi while playing offline mycareer games without issues.

I believe your career has to either be an online or an offline save. You can't take one and change it to the other.
