Why need individual settings for On-Ball Screen and Hedge for 'Center'?

I don't get it guys so wonder if people can explain, why we need these two settings specific for centers? I know that the settings are for how I would react if I am the on-ball defender and then the AI's center comes give the AI player with the ball I am guarding,

and then how the defender that guards the center (most likely be my center as I assume there were no previously switching) would react if there the AI is doing pick and roll...

So I just don't get why specificlly need settings for the position center, why not have this position included in the other setting?

Thanks!

Most likely because compared to all the other positions (1-4), the center position is most likely going to be a really bad perimeter defender therefore it’s giving you the option to have a separate strategy for the big.

Imagine if you’re the nuggets and you have it to switch all pick and rolls because millsap can defend the perimeter. You may want to have it so that Jokic doesn’t switch because he’s a center and won’t be able to guard out in the perimeter.

Thank you for your reply bro. But, can you give an example of how I set it specifically for the Jokic? I know I am still a little confused myself, thx...

I play as the Mavs. Jordan and Dirk take up my center minutes.

I always set them as 'no hedge' so that they hang back near the paint. Jokic should get this setting aswell.

But I switch the other other pick and rolls for the other positions so my PF (Barnes) will often get switched on to guards.

When a team is playing small ball you will need it.
