The AI is absolutely horrible at help defense in almost every capacity

I just started up The Prelude and on the very first possession, I saw the help defense that I expect from 2K. I really hope this isn't a case of the patch they released messing up other things.

Even looking at other recent gameplay videos, they all have the same problem; nobody helps on penetration and they stick to their off-ball man like everyone's Klay Thompson.

Yh I notice you really just have to read the D and take whats given to you. The CPU D is like glue and you have to call screens and run plays to beat it on higher difficulties. Most of what it does on screens is switch or ice it. But in no way have I found it easy to get to the rim honestly. It depends on who you're using and what the D is giving you.

I have noticed that the Cpu rarely likes to double team on mis matches.

There has never been any instance of a help rotation in 2k as long as I remember. At best you get the first help. The 2nd help (help the helper) has never ever been implemented!

Except against the Flying Dragon. It doesn't matter what you do, he will be on you like glue, and burn you on offense.
