The AI is absolutely horrible at help defense in almost every capacity

I’ve seen secondary rotations in 2k19 that I haven’t seen before. I’ll start saving videos.

That was kinda ugly from an offensive AI perspective. In every clip, your teammates allowed two defenders to guard three players. No one moved an inch after that third defender slid into the paint. I realize it was likely a set play or an isolation/PnR situation, but they should recognize when the defense leaves an opening like that and attack accordingly.

I’ve got clips of my teammates guarding their man and as soon as the ball is passed to them, my teammate will sprint to the opposite side of the court and leave their man wide open.
This game is broken in so many ways, true to 2k form for the last few years.

Yeah rotations are poor. No help the helper. Also, I play with communication on and your teammate will say "Switch" and you'll switch and he leaves his guy wide open or tries to double the guy you are having no problem defending. And too often you're containing the ball and your cpu teammate is in help position for no reason and loses his man completely for easy backdoor cuts or simply just lets his guy get inside position and since the cpu can pass paint to paint in traffic without penalty it's always an easy bucket.

they had it in 2k11, cpu rotating, helping each other and not helping off one pass away. You won't see such action in current 2k games at all:

That's off of a hard double-team, though. I'm talking about in the case of standard help defense.

0:16, why is deandre jordan going out to the perimeter? thats a common sense rim dive there
