What happened to Lebron's new scan?

Did his actual face change in a year? Im really confused what the issue is. They made his beard longer. Tick.

Only major difference is the haircut. He has a temp fade in the new captured scan.

I know some of you may not see what the issue is, given there are many players who need a cyberface update more desperately than Lebron does, but the issue is that Ronnie 2K posted a clip of Lebron getting his face scanned for the game over the summer (with his fade cut and trimmed beard) yet in the game itself this was clearly not implemented. It is just odd that the face of the NBA and cover athlete of the game was clearly scanned recently yet he just received the same cyberface as last year with a longer beard. I know it is not the end of the world, just puzzling that his new scan was not added in the game.
