I'll probably do that next year. Seems like they're doing better at dropping 1st major gameplay patch right before the season start. If you think about it, it's $20 cheaper and most bugs have been addressed. Honestly, I have preferred that the game was released closer to the start of the season.

I say Im gonna skip a year... then I see it on sale and feel the need to jump on it. If I buy it, it will be on switch because I see myself playing it more in handheld. Worth the buy on switch?

might be an indication, maybe that it's not doing as well as they were hoping. I've never seen so much backlash on a basketball game before, with the exception of 2k18.

Last year I got it pretty cheap from Ebay but didn't buy until All Star break.

This year I picked it up opening week from someone on Ebay. They just sell you the disc in a blank case for $45. Worth it for me since I don't care about any extra stuff but the game.

I was thinking that, but it makes sense to drop the price right before the NBA season starts.
