2K banning users for auction house "sniping"

What on earth is 2K thinking here?

Permanently banning users and telling them they will not discuss the matter any further is so far from customer-centric it's getting ridiculous.

What's ridiculous is the constant re-posting of a single guy's 'i got banned' screen with no wariness at all about the reality of the situation.

I'm sure the dude got banned for something they didn't want to admit.

The 2K support person specifically stated that sniping is a bannable offense, if that isn't true they shouldn't be saying it, and if they're going to permanently ban somebody they should be transparent as to what the ban is for, rather than simply saying we will not communicate on the matter further.

People get banned for sniping, it's not new, but you're sure they're all doing something else...right.

2K banned this person for sniping because they lose money! But from all the other complaints about certain cheat in the game based on gameplay and all. They don't banned them. They don't even respond or fix the problem because it's not PROFITABLE for them. Because they know people will play no matter what!

If you can't buy or sell at more or less than the average price, why call it an auction? The entire point of an auction is for a seller to get as much as possible, and a buyer to pay as little as possible. If you're going to ban people for that, then don't allow sellers to adjust the selling price or buyers to adjust the offer price.
