The picture you posted just proves OP's point and what I was talking about in the other thread.

Only 431 people streaming this game is bad for a game that is only a month old.

There used to be a lot more people doing it.
I hope they fix their servers quickly though, not being able to play in my online leagues is killing me.

I think the biggest reason people stop playing so quickly is because people want a play smoothly right away kind of game, which is not what sports games are nowadays. With shooters and other kind of games, they arent often released every single year by the same company, so theres A LOT less bugs starting off. CoD? Released every year but multiple companies. RDR2? rare releases. Halo? GTA? Multiple years apart. I think the only AAA non-sports game that releases every year by the same company is Battlefield.

Not only that, but its so much easier to miss something in a sports game. I mean 2K is SO DEEP with so many ratings, so many players, so many sliders and settings and everything.... People want a game that plays right out of the box and it never happens because thats not how the system works. I mean, its mostly the reason why we even have this site. It used to be fine because people could wait it out, but nobody has that time to waste anymore and people are so much harder to please.

This was going to happen sooner or later.

When i started playing 2k there was no MyCareer and i always created a player and put him on a team i built. That was cheese. Then 2k10 came out and i was forced to play every game, had to grind for skill points and was hooked.

Then came 13, that was even i first started playing the 3 on 3 black top. Played 2k14 on ps3 and on ps4 and the difference was enormous. I played 2k14 park for hours until they broke the shooting.

Then 15. Had a blast beginning of the year then they patched it to make it easier to shoot and then the demigod glitch.

16 had the best launch gameplay I've ever seen. Incomes several patches to make shooting easier and tone down defense, but proam was the first 5 on 5 mode with created players and we ran that game into the ground.

17 we get rep for proam and we spent days and months of time playing walk on again. Good game.

18 i played all year again.

This year I'm done with this game less than 2 months in.

Funny thing I've noticed... Shooting has literally gotten easier every year. They just launched with shooting percentages through the roof and now are scared to dial it back.

Same time tho each year for worse for finishing.

It's like... What's 2k20 gonna be like? Soft layups and 3s? That's this year tho...

No layups then even. Only 3s.

I saw many mid range, high post, and some low post shots taken in 4 of the 5 NBA games I have seen so far this season.

The exception was the Warriors game but they have the talent to play as they please

The modern NBA is attacking mismatches on switches, they shoot threes but that's due to help defense needing to come over. For example, the Celtics were trying to post up Redick every single time he was matched up with Brown or Tatum, and Smart was posting up Shamet.
