Dodgeball yet again DOESNT START 9 days in a row

This is an absolute joke. The last patch stated "various improvements to dodgeball" LMAO these turds. Dodgeball has been absolute diarreah filth aids since these "improvements"


Ive contacted 2k support (support lolol) and they told me they couldnt do anything without video. They AS USUAL play dumb and coy but i recorded the videos the last 3 days now. It clearly shows there is a bug ON THERE ON AS USUAL. This time theres absolutely no way they can say that its on the users side because there is no connection issue.... theres 25+ people waiting to play. The 5 minute countdown hits 0 and instead of the game starting, nothing happens. No balls are laoded. No game starts. Then it hilariosuly shows a popup that says "game is a forfeit not enough players".

I mean it is a feature in the game ... shouldn’t be downplayed . It gives decent VC for winning . Isn’t it fair to expect it to work ?

This thread is proof people care. The fact that people wait for Dodgeball games to start and they don't, and people complain, is proof that people care. If it's a feature that isnt going to work in the game people have every right to complain about it.

As a 2k Dodgeball Champion (on the first day of release) I an definitively say, it's not worth the time/VC.

If Myleague a mode they promoted and talked about a lot breaks after 1 season, then dodgeball is not even on their radar.

i was at that point 7 years ago after they introduced the online Association and everything was flawed.

honestly i would have been MAD at 2k if something as stupid as dodgeball in a Basketball game was working fine while the actual game has Bugs over Bugs.

I remember someone maybe czar saying 2k has to keep adding stuff like that because they have to compete with aaa games with more content. I understand the spirit of his argument but it struck me as odd. Why can't you compete on bball alone and if you can't then why are you putting so many resources into it to try?



Seems like a lose lose. I do agree w the last few years wishing I could play some pool at my house tho haha. But that's like a quality of life thing. Adding a mode like dodgeball is very strange. Even tho I think it was generally well received. Dudes I know were happy when they won. It's just amazing if it really is broken or if my league really is broken past yr 1 (no one has confirmed that to me yet but people keep saying it.)



Basketball is basketball, why does it have to compete w fps? I don't understand that at all. If more people like fps than bball then develop a better fps gm and put more resources into it. Stick to bball w 2k.



It's like they're trying to turn 2k into an mmo that people never log off of.

With 2K's history and this being a mini game of many mini games I don't see how someone would expect it to be FLAWLESS when the core game of basketball itself has many many issues for years that has not been addressed. That's all I'm saying.

Also, the argument of it offering good VC only adds to the problem of VC itself which has ruined the game. The more hungry people are for VC the more stuff they will focus on like "dodgeball" to satisfy thier needs which will lead to less time being used on fixing the game of basketball.

I understand the OP's frustration but if you look at the history of this franchise and it's urgency in fixing issues I just don't understand how someone would expect more at this point.

First off.... I paid $100 for the game. Every SINGLE *** **** MODE 100% SHOULD BE PLAYABLE. This is different from glitches and flaws. The mode DOESNT EVEN START.

2nd.... Winning the game at least for me is easy. That's 25k VC I don't have to grind for. Everyone knows the VC payouts are total trash and not at all comparable to how much they charge you for items. I've won dodgeball 7x. Now ever since this incompetent trailer trash company released the last patch that had "various improvements to dodgeball" 0 dodgeball games have started.

maybe you Learned your lesson then and dont pay them 100$ next year but instead buy the Standard version? i always pay at around 30€ for the game. according to your expectation, i should expect a game which is 30% Finished. i think that is fair to say.

i remember a time when we had the online Leagues which Were Not playable, because games would Not Start (nba 2k12).they did Not fix this Problem until February! now that Was a Problem. dodgeball is something that should Not be in this game. maybe the game would be better if they Leave stupid Stuff like that out and Focus on delivering a better Basketball game. maybe then they can dare to call their game a Basketball simulation.
