PGs like Ben Simmons

Ben Simmons as a PG is pure cheese. That dude hoops it up every single game. With that said, i'm looking for a player that is similar to his trait and stature that can play PG.

Are there any good Forward converts to PG?

He is Not looking for crap myplayer stuff but for nba players that can be converted to pg, which can hold up their own against Ben simmons!

@op last year i liked to use Andre iguodala as pg, at least for some stretches or against specific Matchups (like simmons). while Not being as tall as simmons, iguodala still has the body to hold up against him. of course lebron or Giannis are also an Option.

Kyle Anderson is a slept on point forward.

Joe Ingles I consider a point forward as well who can also catch and shoot really well. Also an underrated defensive player.

I was thinking of Ingles, but he's just way too slow for PG.

I was thinking more of someone like Ben Simmons build who's quick and agile for a guy his frame. I swear, I used him against tiny (NBA Standards of course, no offense to 5'9" guys) Isaiah Thomas and I bullied him all game. Hooped it up to the tune of 40 something points, triple doubled. Nearly quadruple doubled, two short of blocks.

Iguodala is good and all, but I was thinking more like a 6'10" PG who can cause mismatches all day every day.

I'm going to try out Kyle Anderson tho. He looks very promising. Not sure about his ability to bully guards to the rim like Simmons can do, but i'll give it a shot.

Luka doesn't work because honestly he can still be guarded by the John Wall's of the world in theory.

You need a speedy, slashing bully with handles.

Lakers should have already been playing Bron at the Point in a line up with Ingram, Kuzma, McGee, and another switchy big.


Also don't sleep on Khris Middleton. Jason Kidd gave them Bucks players the key to playing the Point God position.


Kyle Anderson is a no for me. He is too slow of a slasher and a poor scorer. I would have no problem putting Steph Curry on him and daring him to takeover.


Kawhi Leonard has that potential in the right lineup. Paul George could as well.



I agree that Blake Griffin is that too but good luck figuring out a lineup that forces the opposing teams PG to guard Blake. That would be a slow lineup.

That's a pretty good assessment. I honestly don't want to use a superstar because that's just too much cheese. I wanted someone like Simmons who's in his 2nd year and I know he's going to be a force to reckon with as the years go by.

I changed him up to a SG and he's killing it every which way. Guards can't take him on in the key. Trying to find a PG to pair him up with that's as tall as he is and who can bully a PG in the key for easy basket or oop. I might try Middleton tho.

I mean. Ben Simmons is a star because a guy like him is hard to find. That build, that level of athleticism, with those handles, and pure passing ability? Good luck bro. I can think of Simmons, Giannis, and LeBron. Nobody else even close. You’re not gonna find an answer lol. Other than maybe trade for Ben Simmons.
