Best controller settings?
I find myself changing them constantly, especially between camera relative and absolute dribbling. I can’t seem to feel much of a difference. I watched Sam Pham’s video about the katana pass and put his settings but I never get control of the player pressing circle. He just stands there or barely moves and no it’s not on Handoff/pitch pass. I’m also not sure how to activate skip pass as I see the small white circle under the player but nothing happens when I press X. Does anyone have any recommendations or explanations for the controller settings? ThanksTags: None -

- I play with pro stick orientation on absolute. However, I do play on 2K camera.
- Defensive settings on camera relative. I find myself sliding out of position less and putting my hands up when appropriate at the end of shot clock.
- Boxout assist strength always on 0
- Handoff/Pitch pass setting. This is strictly a preference thing.
For skip passes make sure you are holding down the X button and press the stick in the direction you'd like the pass to go. If you tap it, its not a skip pass at all. -

Re: Best controller settings?
I wish I could play on absolute on offense. Quite frankly it would make the game a lot easier. Especially on the harder difficulties. Unfortunately years of playing on camera relative has programmed my brain and I just can't process the switch.
Weirdly though I have no problem playing defense on absolute. Offense is a no go.Comment

Give it a try. For years i'm on camera relative. Absolute on offense allows u to do the moves u want especially in the post.

Me too initially, especially when i'm playing on skybox camera mode. Had trouble with crossover dribbling. But when come to post game I greatly appreciate the absolute controls.
