Agreed. It seems the patches for gameplay are mostly focused on the street game but they inevitable pour over into the NBA game.

100% agreed. Although I would like My Career to also be included in the NBA game (offline only).

I get this idea but doubt it will happen. I’m in a smaller minority group though. I love playing with classic teams. I’ll create a classic league and play a full season like that. There’s no way I’m paying $60 for a game & then playing a mode where I have to pay more. I’m cheap like that lol. I prefer the old school post up game so I just create all my teams and with enough tweaks, I get a pretty good game. I know I’m in the smallest minority so I’m just going to ride this ride as long as I can. I get wanting a game that isn’t tied to all the patches for online though.

They use the same "engine" but actually, there are different games. And as many stated that you have the option to just don’t play the mode you are not interested in, i have to admit that as stated, patches do influence how the game plays & it gets really complicated between these different modes.it is really tough to have 1 game with totally different modes & be able to cover everybody & every gameplay mode...So i believe that if they release 2 diff games it would be better for ALL
