Personally I like to switch cameras. I enjoy both 2K and the side views but I feel it's definately easier when I use the 2K cam. If I was playing online I'd definately use the 2k cam.
I think its up to the person. I play on broadcast mostly, because I stream alot of games and that seems to be the best cam to "watch" someone play on. But, i do believe that the 2k and Drive Cam are the easiest to play from.

Appreciate the shout out VNI. Ha. I slum this year.

Works for bugs but it’s noticeable when a guard is on broadcast.

Re: Appropriate Camera Angle for Competitive Gaming

I've already posted how much I despise broadcast cam lol so I'm not gonna list all the reasons why, but I think too many ppl don't realize that when you go online, your camera angle affects the entire team. If the team isn't in sync camera angle wise, it's harder to be in sync as a team. I've played with dudes who were on broadcast and I suggested they switch, and it was night and day before and after as far as being on the same page with passes, cuts, rotations, etc.

Re: Appropriate Camera Angle for Competitive Gaming

my camera angle has no effect on others when playing online.

me making dumb decisions or space poorly surely does.

point is that its not the camera its the person playing.

not every angle suits every person.

whatever you are comfortable with is what you should be playing on.

Right lol. . . play whatever camera angle suits your play, you're comfortable in. I've been playing 2K since it first went online, NEVER have I heard of team gameplay being effected by playing in different camera modes. . .

I've played on Broadcast forever and I'm not changing it.

No offense but this is what every noob says. Some guy on broadcast and the rest on 2K is 100% going to affect what happens and ability to be in sync. Or maybe you're the exception. But 99% of broadcast cam users online aren't you and it completely messes up the flow of the team. This isn't some arbitrary "flavors" that we're comfortable with, there's distinct and factual pros/cons of every camera angle based on the dynamics of views/angles etc. For example, fast break blind spots using broadcast isn't 'opinion' or 'preference', it's a fact of the camera angle. Especially if you're going online, it should be more about the team than self.

That's great, but IF you go online don't get upset/surprised when people like me message you "why tf are you clogging the paint??" because you're seeing different angles and screwing up the team's spacing, etc. Maybe you're the exception and are perfectly in sync with the team even if you're on a dramatically different camera angle, but most aren't like that.
