TNT presentation

We know NBA 2k have the great gameplay. Now it need some special presentation package that other sports games have. Instead of wasting money on actors and story this year, they should add some kind of presentation network.

Is it likely they will add TNT, maybe NBA network, or ESPN in the near future??

EA has exclusive rights with ESPN still so that's a no for ESPN

It would be cool if we're able to choose between TNT and the regular 2k presentations. That way, we can change them for big games and have 2k act as a local broadcast.

I kind of see 2Ks current presentation model as TNT. They just need to add unique segments like "Kenny's Stamp of Approval" (from 2K7) to the halftime show and acknowledging other league games. They also need a lesser package (2K14) to differentiate the two.

Yeah for me having TNT or ESPN for every single broadcast is unrealistic. TNT broadcasts only a few games a year for each team. To buy such an expensive thing like the rights to use TNT, for an off and on broadcast seems silly, and realistically, they would probably use it every game, which is unrealistic, so basically, to me it's a no win situation.

Its a mod, you can get scoreboards/screen wipes for TNT, ESPN, TSN, NBC etc.

I think the next best evolution would be to allow us to re-brand the score bug. Imagine having that option for your MyLeague under the rebrand section, you could potentially have different score bugs for each team. Also having the original score bug for nationally televised games (those games that have the mini tv screen).

TNT presentation would be a nice addition. I also really like the idea of designing or choosing different score bugs for MyLeague. The game still needs improvement in presentation. It's not really bad but I'd like to see more individual stat overlays which is something I've been bringing up every year for a while now. There are plenty of team stats displayed in a game and I like that but sometimes you can go a long while before hearing or seeing stats for an individual player for the current game.

One thing I like about Live is that just about each time a player scores, grabs a rebound, or dishes and assist it will show their current total for that stat on the side. It helps you to keep up with individual stats without having to think about it. With 2k I'm always trying to remember stats for individual players for the current game in my head because you just don't see or hear them very often.

If you press up on the dpad there is an overlay in the upper part of the screen that constantly shows the player stats of the guy you are controlling.


I think 2K should at least add every presentation package they have had in next gen and let us choose between them as an option for games. They could also add TNT, NBA TV and FOX.

Doesn't work if you like to do CPU vs CPU, which I do.
