Green release windows should be visible on the shot meter

Similar to how you can see the green release point in Live, it should be identified on the meter.

Considering that make percentages are 100% on greens, and full whites are around 50% if youíre uncontested with a high rating, thatís a heavy price for being off on your release by a few frames.

By making greens 100%, precision timing was heavily incentivized, but we donít actually know where the target is.

And for the record, Iíd rather do away with 100% makes on greens. If it was up to me, id being back the good release, widen the green window by some amount (canít accurately say how much without actual testing) to make them a little easier to get, and switch them to a bonus added to your base make percentage. So I would apply a penalty to your base success percentage for every release other than good, and then throw a small bonus on top for excellent releases.

But I know thatís highly unlikely to happen. The era of the entitled greens is upon us. God forbid you perfect your timing and you miss sometimes...

Yh i'm the same man. I rather them do away with greens too or just make them give bonus to your make percentage like you're saying. Shouldn't be 100% makes like now. Just give us good, early and late releases and green just gives bonus to make percentage. That would be great. But sadly, most 2k players now don't want to play realistic basketball. They just wanna make it if they are open every time.

"Green Windows" should Not be visible and green Releases equaling 100% makes should be taken completely out of the game. if you got a Green Release it should be like a few years back (up until 2k13 or 2k14 i think), where a perfect Release meant you maximized you Chances in relation to your rating.

The only best green window is if its removed from the game completely.

If they arenít going to show us the green window, then why have it in the first place? Itís the most important piece of information about your jumpshot, due to the drop in success percentage of your shot. The shot meter would actually be better if it literally only showed the green window and just summed all other release points up as ďbadĒ for the way itís designed.

The location of the green window isnít even really all that intuitive. The way these meters have always worked, is to aim for the exact top of the meter for best accuracy, but thatís not even where the green window is. Itís somewhere close to the top but a little before it. This nonsense feels like playing a game of darts, where everything but the bullseye is largely irrelevant to your score, the bullseye is hidden from you, itís been moved slightly off center in some direction, and it changes size depending on how you throw the darts. The least they could do, is make green windows all the same size, and center them directly on the top of the shot meter, such that the very top point of the meter is the dead center of the window

As for your second point, thatís basically what I said. So yea....I agree

Naw....we don't need it. Majority of people are already shooting crazy, contested shots without it. If you can't shoot, then use the practice mode and figure it out. The offense doesn't need anymore additional help to score.
