This doing so makes the game less of a headache. . . it's NOT cheating yourself if you do but why gamers think so is beyond me especially when the sliders are there for a reason, my sliders don't collect dust lol. . . online play is a different can of corn. . .

Man I would love to see this online. I made a 6í11 Center and the difference in speed and explosiveness compared to max size isnít as noticeable as it should be. Especially when it comes to recovery on rotations. If someone drives and the behemoth covering me rotates to defend the rim and I get it dumped off to me at the side of the hoop, a 7í3 Boban shouldnít be able to recover to block my shot with ease. It would certainly create a lot more diversity if there were more penalties for being big and slow at all positions.

Re: Speed and acceleration sliders unlock the game

I've been playing with these settings for a year. I can't go back to default its unrealistically slow. I would suggest doing what OP said if you're looking for an improvement. If you want to go one step further and make the speed match real life, I would increase the separate acceleration and speed sliders to 70. If you can live with sped up dribble/run animations. Here's a video I made comparing things to real life:

Think they should tweak the animations going forward so that the players don't dribble as much. Like Giannis for example, he doesn't need this many steps to cover distance.

The same or worst with the ball.
The idea itís good but you should have a good balance also for slower players.
Iím still thinking that the fastest are very too fast.
Iíll suggest an 80/20 for all
Just set mine to this. Thought the fast guys would be a little too fast, but they aren't, despite being a little faster than 77/20 obviously. Feels pretty smooth at 80/20.

Shot blocking is also a 1000 times better. Non defensive bigs dont fly around like Ben Wallace. That was huge problem on default. Amazing that the movement sliders would affect things like Shot blocking.

Good, good, good stuff. Have we added this to the Dev feedback thread?

Speed and acceleration sliders unlock the game

After messing around with the sliders I found 85/20 with 48 game speed to be good for me. 99/1 had a good feel to it but I couldn't get over the sliding and awkward dribbling that faster players did on it. 85/20 with a 2 drop in game speed seems to keep solid separation while not sacrificing the look of the game to me.

Thanks for the suggestion on these sliders, never even thought about messing with them before.

I have to make a mental note to remember this for NBA 2K20. That Pistons-Hawks video was beautiful.
