An OP here told me to change the

Speed Without Ball(Max)
Speed Without Ball(Min)

Acceleration without Ball(Max)
Acceleration without Ball(Min)

Speed With Ball(Max)
Speed With Ball(Min)

Acceleration With Ball(Max)
Acceleration With Ball(Min)

to 99 Max, and all Min sliders to 1 for both human and cpu, it turns 2k19 into an entirely different game. You can now exploit bigs in space. The defensive rotations and contests are more realistic. The drive and kick game is better and shot blocking is more realistic. I recommend others to try it out. Plays like a different game. Wowwww. I will never play default again.

What part of the sliders in the set up are you talking about and do you have it set for human and cpu. Thanks

Speed Without Ball(Max)

Set all Max sliders to 99, all Min sliders to 1 for both human and cpu.

Its baffling to me that they would have it capped at 70/30. Why they would not want to accentuate the speed and explosiveness of the NBA players is crazy.

I was able to guard Westbrook and Paul George with Huerter and Prince on 70/30. Not on 99/1. Its like I just bought 2k20. Ha

Yes. Once you change the threshold sliders you can leave speed at 50. Short players are way more useful now. Bogdon is no longer the God. Ha

Fastest players become too fast if you are using 50 for general speed and quickness.
In order to use 99/1 IMO you should decrease at 25 the general value.

I’m using
77/25 for fastest and slower
30 for quickness

Seems to be appropriate (IMHO)

Fastest players become too fast if you are using 50 for general speed and quickness.
In order to use 99/1 IMO you should decrease at 25 the general value.

I’m using
77/25 for fastest and slower
30 for quickness

I am on the other side of this. I like the 99 to 1. I have had no problem defending the extremely fast players. If a player has 99 speed, I don't want the slider to be capped at 77 max. The bigger the speed difference the better (imo), the athletic ability of the top players is clear on 99/1, and the pace of the game is much more akin to a real nba game. Now you have to give the fast guys space. Height is no longer such a big factor.

I played the pistons and Ish smith was able to affect the game with his speed and quickness. First time I have ever seen a short guy be such a headache in a 2k game.

As far as quickness goes, I am not a slider guru, so I have no idea if 30 is better then 50/default.

The animations of the slow guys are much better with the 99/1 threshold sliders. So not only will they run slower, they won't explode and twitch around the floor at such a great speed.

Gonna try these out tonight! I'll let you know how it goes. Seems like the speed threshold in Madden which I always mess with so I'm looking forward to it.

I tried retrodee movement sliders some time back. I remember noticing the movement were just too fast, not realistic. It's like hitting the 'fast forward' button on a video replay. For instance, the ball-handler walking up the court have quick walking steps. Looks funny on the gameplay.

I suspect 99/1 with game speed at 50 could pose the same issue. Rob, speed and acceleration, I suppose u keep it at default 50?

Only touched the 8 threshold sliders. Everything else at 50. The animations seem slower and more realistic to me. Remember this slider slows down just as much as it speeds up.

Remember some guys in sliders messing around w/ the ratings, only issue I’ve had so far is the game doesn’t seem to handle the speed. Players start running weird or in place.
